1.1 The park of Mudumalai and the Nilgiri Moutains
The park is located at the foot hills of the Nilgiri's moutains. It is only separated from the Bandipur National Park in Karnataka by the river called "Moyar". The Mudumalai Park is very important in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve spread over 5,500 sq km in the western ghats. This is one of the biggest reserve of elephants, buffaloes and tigers. This park is spread on 322 sq km. Its vegetation is very varied and are very thick in places. There are a lot of open spaces with a lot of wild animals like deer, bear and Wild boar, etc. We can also see more than 120 varieties of birds.
The Nilgiri Moutains means "Blues Moutains" because the peaks are always in a blue hue. This moutain has the highest pick in south India wich is called Dodda Betta hight of 2200m.

1.2 Safari and leisure activities
To enjoy the jungle, you can take a safari jeepride or an elephant ride. You can also treck through the nature with a guide for watching flora and fauna.
You can drive into Nilgiri Moutains to visit the tea garden.
And if you are interested in Indian Culture, it is possible to make a tour to Mysore where there is the ancient historically famous Maharaja's palace.
1.3 How to get there
The village of Bokkapuram is about 6kms from the village of Masinagudi in Tamil Nadu. It is located at 30kms from Ooty, 100 kms from Mysore and 235 kms from Bangalore.
